IGUANA PROS

Terms

Last updated: October 10, 2026

These terms describe the basic rules for using the Iguana Pros marketplace. They are written as a practical launch baseline and should be reviewed for your business's legal requirements before broad public launch.

Marketplace role

Iguana Pros is a marketplace platform that helps customers discover, compare, and connect with independent iguana-control providers. Iguana Pros is not the provider of the field services displayed or quoted through the marketplace.

Independent providers

Participating providers are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing, insurance, employees, methods, equipment, pricing, scheduling, legal compliance, safety practices, taxes, and service performance.

Quotes and service agreements

Quotes, service notes, availability, and pricing are supplied by providers. Selecting a quote connects the customer with that provider. Any field-service agreement is between the customer and provider unless expressly stated otherwise.

The provider billing charges described below are marketplace fees paid by participating providers. They are separate from the price a customer agrees to pay a provider for field services.

Provider plans and monthly subscriptions

Current provider pricing is in U.S. dollars:

Provider plan pricing
PlanMonthly subscriptionAccepted-lead fee
Free$0$25 per accepted lead
Pro$19 per monthIncluded; $0 extra
Featured$39 per monthIncluded; $0 extra

Pro and Featured are optional recurring monthly subscriptions. When you complete a subscription purchase through Stripe Checkout, you authorize the displayed subscription charge and automatic monthly renewals using your selected payment method until you cancel. Review the amount and billing frequency shown in Checkout before subscribing.

Accepted-lead fees are included when your provider account is on Pro or Featured at the time a customer selects your quote. Starting a subscription does not automatically waive accepted-lead fees recorded before the subscription began.

A paid plan does not guarantee any number of leads, accepted quotes, jobs, customer payments, or service outcomes.

Accepted-lead fees

On the Free plan, a $25 marketplace fee is recorded when a customer selects your submitted quote through Iguana Pros. Merely receiving a matched lead or submitting a quote does not trigger this fee.

The fee is for the accepted marketplace connection. It is recorded at quote selection, rather than when field work is completed or the customer pays you. Quote acceptance is not a guarantee that the customer will proceed with the job.

Outstanding accepted-lead fees appear in your provider dashboard and can be paid using Pay outstanding balance. If you believe a fee was recorded incorrectly, contact iguanaprofl@gmail.com with the relevant request or billing details so it can be reviewed.

Managing billing and canceling a subscription

You can manage your subscription and payment information by selecting Manage billing in your provider dashboard. This opens the Stripe customer portal.

You may cancel your monthly subscription through that portal before its next renewal. Normal cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period: the plan remains active until the cancellation date shown in the portal, and the subscription does not renew after that date. Review and confirm the cancellation in the portal.

After the subscription ends, your account returns to the Free plan and its accepted-lead fee applies to subsequent quote selections. Cancellation does not erase outstanding fees already recorded.

Pausing new leads or signing out does not cancel a subscription or stop its recurring charges. Use Manage billing to cancel. If you cannot access the portal, contact iguanaprofl@gmail.com for assistance.

Subscription refunds and billing questions

Subscription refund requests are reviewed case by case. Canceling a subscription does not automatically refund a previous payment or unused time in the current paid billing period.

For an accidental purchase, duplicate charge, suspected billing error, or other refund request, email iguanaprofl@gmail.com with your provider company name, account email, payment date, and the reason for your request. Do not send full card numbers or account passwords.

Any approved refund is processed through Stripe to the original payment method, subject to payment-method availability. Nothing in this policy limits refunds or other rights required by applicable law.

Verification

Verified Provider status means Iguana Pros has recorded the required business-identity and insurance checks used by the marketplace at the time of review. Verification is not an endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of service quality, safety, availability, licensing status, or future insurance coverage.

Reviews

Marketplace reviews are intended to reflect customer experiences associated with completed marketplace connections. Users may not submit fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or intentionally misleading content.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with marketplace operation, impersonate another person or business, submit unlawful content, or use customer/provider information for unrelated spam or harassment.

No guarantee of match or outcome

Iguana Pros does not guarantee that a request will receive a quote, that a provider will be available, that a quoted price will remain available indefinitely, or that any particular result will be achieved.

Limitation of marketplace responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Iguana Pros is not responsible for the acts, omissions, property damage, injuries, disputes, representations, or service outcomes of independent providers or customers. Nothing on the platform replaces appropriate professional, legal, regulatory, or safety advice.

Changes

The marketplace, features, fees, and these terms may change over time. Continued use after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by law. Posting updated terms does not, by itself, authorize a new recurring charge or an increase to an existing subscription charge. Any changes to subscription charges require the disclosures, notices, and consent required by applicable law.

Launch noteBefore significant public traffic, have a Florida attorney review these terms and your privacy disclosures, especially marketplace liability, billing, consumer disclosures, and provider requirements.
